Professor Stephen Hall is a faculty member at the Faculty of Law of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), where he has been since 2005. He previously served as an Associate Professor at City University of Hong Kong and a Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. Hall was the foundation director of the first Juris Doctor (JD) programs in Hong Kong at both City University and CUHK. He also teaches a course on the origins of Western civilization at CUHK's C. W. Chu College.
Research Interests: Professor Hall specializes in contract law, international law, natural law traditions, common law, European and Roman legal history, and European Union law. His work explores intersections between legal philosophy, historical jurisprudence, and modern legal systems.
