Stephen Graham

Stephen Graham serves as Professor of Virus:Host Interactions in the Department of Pathology at the University of Cambridge and is a Principal Investigator at Cambridge Infectious Diseases, where he leads the Atomic Virology Lab focused on critical virus-host dynamics.

His research expertise encompasses:

• Remodelling of membrane architecture and composition by viruses
• Viral evasion of innate immunity mechanisms
• Pathogen evolution and structural virology

These interests manifest across virology, pathogen biology, molecular biology, and structural analysis of host-pathogen interfaces. Professor Graham actively supervises PhD students and offers consultancy services, contributing to Cambridge Infectious Diseases' interdisciplinary mission in combating global infectious disease challenges through fundamental virological research.
