Stephen Edward Rees

Stephen Edward Rees is a Professor and Head of Research Group at the Department of Health Science and Technology, Aalborg University, within The Faculty of Medicine. His roles include leading the Beacon Caresystem project for AI-driven mechanical ventilation decision support and managing the CoRESCUE AAU Pandemic Ventilator initiative. He is affiliated with the Respiratory and Critical Care research area and AI for the People research group.

His research focuses on mechanical ventilation optimization, decision support systems, respiratory physiology, and blood gas analysis.
