Dr Stephen Billett is a Professor of Adult and Vocational Education at Griffith University, Australia. With a career spanning manufacturing, vocational education, and policy roles, he specializes in learning through work, workplace education, and occupational resilience. He holds adjunct professorships at the University of Stavanger (Norway) and University West (Sweden), and was a research fellow at Oxford University. His research addresses vocational education’s societal role, employability via internships, and worklife learning in changing environments.
