Stephen Bennett is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Gustavus Adolphus College. He has also held administrative roles as Assistant Director, Director of Counseling, and Associate Dean of Students (1997–2018). Currently, he serves as a Gift Planner in the Advancement department.

- B.A. in Philosophy (minor in Coaching) from Saint John's University (1989)
- M.A. in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary's University (1995)
- Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Minnesota School of Professional Psychology (1997)

Achievements:
- Developed the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) with Gustavus Health Service
- Provided mental wellbeing consulting for NCAA Division I athletes during his Towson University internship
- Supervised graduate students during clinical training
Additional Roles: Licensed psychologist in Minnesota; Harvard University certificate in Educational Management; leadership training from the Whidbey Institute and Thrivent Fellows Program. Personal interests include family time, motorcycle riding, hockey, and exploring Minnesota's outdoors.
