Stephen Baron

Stephen Baron is a Professor in the Department of Sociology at Queen's University, affiliated with the Faculty of Arts and Science. His research focuses on criminology, particularly street youth and their criminal behavior, exploring how poverty and unemployment influence their involvement in crime and substance abuse.

• M.A. – University of Victoria
• Ph.D. – University of Alberta

Research Interests: Criminology, Young Offenders, Juvenile Delinquency, Poverty and Crime, Substance Abuse among Youth. His current work examines structural factors like economic deprivation and their impact on criminal behavior.
