Stephanie Stobbe

Dr. Stephanie Stobbe is an Associate Professor and Chair of Conflict Resolution Studies at Canadian Mennonite University (CMU), affiliated with Menno Simons College. Her work focuses on refugee resettlement, forced migration, and historical documentation. She curated the national travelling exhibition Hearts of Freedom: Stories of Southeast Asian Refugees, highlighting refugee narratives and Canadian policy impacts. Dr. Stobbe has been awarded King Charles III’s Coronation Medal for her contributions to refugee history preservation. She collaborates with researchers and institutions to advance conflict resolution and refugee integration studies through exhibitions, documentaries, and academic publications. Her interdisciplinary approach bridges historical analysis, policy evaluation, and community engagement.
