Stephanie R. Golob is an Associate Professor of Political Science at Baruch College, CUNY, and serves as Department Chair. She teaches courses on globalization, Latin American politics, and transitional justice, and is affiliated with the Ph.D./M.A. Program in Political Science at the Graduate Center, CUNY. Dr. Golob founded ISLA (Initiative for the Study of Latin America) at Baruch's Weissman School of Arts and Sciences.

Her research focuses on the globalization of justice, with emphasis on Chile and Spain, examining legal and political impacts of mass grave exhumations and memory laws. She has contributed to edited volumes like Memory Laws and Historical Justice (Palgrave, 2022) and co-authored Mapping the New North American Reality (IRPP, 2004).
Dr. Golob's recent work explores transnational legal memory regimes, universal jurisdiction in Spain, and cross-border transitional justice trends. She is completing a book manuscript on "hegemonic memory regimes" in Spain and another on exhumations in memory politics.
