Stephanie Kaplan

Dr. Stephanie Kaplan is a Professor of Art History at Savannah College of Art and Design, with campuses in Hong Kong and Savannah, GA. She holds a Ph.D. in Art History and Archaeology from Washington University, an M.A. in Art History from Syracuse University, and a B.A. in Art History from the University of Denver. Her teaching experience spans multiple institutions including Washington University and Syracuse University.

Her research focuses on Italian Renaissance and Baroque art, particularly portraiture, engravings, and religious iconography. She maintains active memberships in professional organizations including the College Art Association, Italian Arts Society, Midwest Art History Society, and Renaissance Society of America.
