Stephanie Hrubesch serves as Full Professor for Private Law at the University of Bern's Department of Private Law since 2010 (initially 50%, increased to 75% in 2017), where she also co-directs the Institute for Civil Law. She maintains dual academic-professional engagement as an Attorney at Law admitted to the St. Gallen Bar.
Her research spans the Swiss Civil Code with emphasis on personal law, family law, inheritance law, and property law, extending to private international law, personality rights, foundation law, association law, and child/adult guardianship law. She actively contributes to legal discourse through co-editing the journal Aktuelle Juristische Praxis (AJP) since 2016 and conducting expert reviews in specialized legal domains.
