Stephanie M. Hohlios is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Visual Arts at Flagler College. Her research focuses on modern and contemporary Japanese and Asian art, analyzing works through frameworks of gender, labor, ethnicity, and regional identity. She teaches courses on Asian art history, Buddhist visuality, colonial modernity, postcolonial discourse, ecocriticism, and community-engaged art practices.
