Stephanie Edwards

Dr. Stephanie Edwards is a Professor of Mathematics and Department Chair at Hop College since 2018. She teaches courses in calculus, statistics, multivariate mathematics, analysis, and complex analysis.

• Education: Ph.D. in Mathematics (Complex Analysis) from University of Wisconsin-Madison (1998), B.S. in Mathematics and Statistics from Miami University (1991).

Research Interests:
Dr. Edwards specializes in complex function theory, particularly the distribution of zeros of derivatives of real entire functions of finite order. Her work extends the classical Pólya and Wiman conjectures using modern computational tools to analyze polynomial curvature, level sets, and critical point behavior.

Publications & Research Trends:
Her research spans complex analysis, graph theory, and combinatorial design. Notable work includes visualizing polynomial curvature, multidesigns for complete graphs, and counter-examples to mathematical conjectures. Her articles often integrate theoretical insights with computational methods.
