Stephanie Cosner

Dr. Stephanie Cosner serves as Provost and Professor of Social Work at Simmons University. Previously she was Vice Provost and Inaugural Dean of the College of Social Sciences, Policy, and Practice. Her research focuses on social innovation, technology integration in social work, and social sector leadership. She co-leads the Grand Challenge for Social Work initiative 'Harnessing Technology for Social Good' and founded the Boston College Center for Social Innovation. Her publications include the book 'Innovation From Within: Redefining How Nonprofits Solve Problems' and numerous articles on social innovation, nonprofit management, and technology applications in social services.
