Stephan Pollmann

Stephan Pollmann is a Professor in the Department of Biotechnology and Plant Biology at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, affiliated with the Center for Plant Biotechnology and Genomics (CBGP). His research focuses on plant hormone interactions, particularly how crosstalk between hormones provides growth plasticity and integrates environmental cues.

Recent work highlights a novel link between indole-3-acetamide and abscisic acid signaling, using molecular genetics, bioinformatics, and omics approaches. He leads the Regulatory Networks of Development and Response to Stress in Plants research group and serves as Deputy Director of his department since 2025.
