About
Stephan M. Feller is a Professor of Tumor Biology at the Medical Faculty of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg (MLU). Previously, he held positions as a Principal Investigator at the Sir David Weatherall Institute of Molecular Medicine, Oxford University (2001–2013), and led a junior research group at the University of Würzburg. His research focuses on intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) in signaling pathways, cancer drug combination therapies, and preventive medicine advocacy.
Education: Diplom in Biology from the University of Heidelberg (1994 PhD in Cell Biology and Biochemistry, The Rockefeller University, NYC). Postdoc at Rockefeller University before establishing his independent research group.
Current projects include collaborations within the RTG, such as studying signaling pathway cross-talk and drug targets in head and neck cancer. His work bridges molecular mechanisms of oncogenesis and translational medicine.
Labs/Teams: Leads the Tumor Biology research group at MLU, collaborating with scientists like Mirko Buchholz and Milton T. Stubbs in interdisciplinary projects.
