Stephan Klaus is the Scientific Administrator of the Mathematisches Forschungsinstitut Oberwolfach (MFO) and an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz. Born in 1963, he holds a PhD and habilitation in mathematics from Mainz University. His academic career includes roles as a research assistant at Bielefeld and Göttingen Universities, and as a Privatdozent at Mainz University.
