Stephan E. Wolf

Dr. rer. nat. Stephan E. Wolf is a researcher at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU), specializing in biomineralization processes and biomimetic materials. Since March 2022, he has led an Emmy Noether Research Group, focusing on the intersection of inorganic, biological, and bioinspired solid-state material formation. His work explores nonclassical crystallization mechanisms, liquid-liquid phase separations, and cross-scale structure-property relationships in water-based inorganic systems.
