Stepan Wood is a Professor and Canada Research Chair in Law, Society and Sustainability at the Allard School of Law, University of British Columbia. His research focuses on environmental law, transnational governance, and social justice, with a particular emphasis on climate change, corporate responsibility, and rights of nature. He directs the Centre for Law and the Environment and has held visiting appointments at institutions including the European University Institute and Northwestern University.
