Steffen Koolmann is an Honorary Professor for Economics and Society at Alanus University since 2018, alongside holding the Chair of the Board of Social Therapeutic Communities Weckelweiler e.V. since 2018. He previously served as Professor for Economics and Society (2011–present), Vice Rector (2009–2013), and Managing Director of Alanus University GmbH (2010–2013). He leads the Institute for Educational Economics (since 2008) and founded the Institute for Social Economic Management (ISU) in 2005.
