Stefano Rusponi

Stefano Rusponi is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL), affiliated with the School of Basic Sciences. He is based in the Surface Nanostructures Laboratory (LNS) and also contributes to teaching through the SPH - Teaching unit. Additionally, he serves as a Member of the Doctoral Program Committee for the Physics Doctoral Program, highlighting his involvement in academic governance and PhD education.

His research focuses on advanced topics in condensed matter and nanoscale physics, particularly spintronics and surface nanostructures, bridging fundamental magnetism with quantum phenomena.
