Stefano Ruggeri is a Full Professor of Criminal Procedural Law (SSD IUS/16) at the Department of Law, University of Messina, where he teaches Criminal Procedural Law, European and Transnational Criminal Justice, and the Law of Criminal Evidence. He graduated with honors from the University of Messina in 2000 and earned his PhD in Criminal Law and Procedure from the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa in 2004. His academic career progressed from researcher at Magna Graecia University of Catanzaro (2005) to Associate Professor at the University of Messina (2007), culminating in his qualification as Full Professor in 2017.
