Stefano Pozza is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Numerical Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, Prague. His research focuses on numerical methods and optimal control in magnetic resonance techniques. He serves as the Principal Investigator (P.I.) for the PRIMUS research project A Lanczos-like Method for the Time-Ordered Exponential (2021–2025) and is a partner in the French ANR project MAGICA (2021–2025) and the SEED4EU+ initiative INGREDIENT (2025).

- Numerical solutions to spin dynamics differential equations
- Optimal control in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and MRI
- Mathematical modeling for sensitivity enhancement in NMR
- Development of computational tools for 4D–5D NMR experiments
