Stefano Ferracuti

Stefano Ferracuti is a Full Professor of Forensic Psychopathology at the Department of Human Neuroscience, Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Sapienza University of Rome. He serves as Director of the II Degree Master in Forensic Psychiatry, Clinical Criminology, and Judicial Psychology.

Research interests include:

• Forensic psychopathology and legal psychology
• Autism Spectrum Disorder and schizophrenia neurobiology
• Childhood trauma impacts on mental health
• Frailty-neuropsychiatric interconnections
• Neuroimaging in obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
• Geriatric psychiatry and late-life depression

His recent publications focus on neuroimaging, treatment-resistant mental disorders, and trauma-related psychopathology. He is currently Specialty Chief Editor for Forensic and Legal Psychology at Frontiers in Psychology.
