Stefan Tübbicke is a Lecturer at the Chair of Empirical Economic Research at the University of Potsdam, where he worked as a research assistant from February 2015 to September 2020. Since October 2020, he has been a post-doctoral researcher at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB) in Nuremberg.

Research interests include start-up subsidies, causal inference methods, personality and entrepreneurial development, business coaching, labor economics, and minimum wage policies. These align with his doctoral dissertation titled "Essays on Start-Up Subsidies for the Unemployed and Methods for Causal Inference" and his involvement in projects like the Evaluation of the 'Startchancen' Programme.
Teaching: In the Summer Semester 2024, he will deliver the lecture "Introduction to Statistics".
