Stefan Rimm is a Lecturer in Rhetoric at the Department of Culture and Learning, Södertörn University. He holds a Ph.D. in Pedagogy and focuses on historical and contemporary perspectives on rhetoric, education, and citizenship.

The study highlights the persistence of classical texts like Gerardus Johannis Vossius' Elementa rhetorica and their role in shaping an erudite identity during the period.
