Prof. Stefan Perner is a full Professor and head of the department at the Institute for Civil Law and Civil Procedure at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). He teaches civil law across bachelor's, master's, and executive programs at WU and internationally. His academic work focuses on business-related civil law, banking/insurance law, European private law, and digitalization challenges.
Prof. Perner leads significant research projects including Supply Chains from the Perspective of Civil and Insurance Contract Law and Private Law and the Climate Crisis, funded by the B&C Foundation. He participates in key legal events such as the Traunkirchen Civil Law Forum and Civil Court Day.
