Stefan Laser

Stefan Laser is a Research Fellow in Sociology at the University of Siegen's Faculty of Social Sciences, affiliated with the Collaborative Research Center 'Media of Cooperation.' His current research examines infrastructure structures and changes in public sector services as part of the subproject 'Normal Operational Outages.'

Laser's research spans science and technology studies, economic and consumer sociology, waste management (particularly electronic waste), infrastructure sustainability, and digital methodologies. Previous research includes a doctoral project on electronic waste value creation and coordinating the 'Consumer Policy Model Facing New Challenges' research group. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Kassel and has conducted international research in India and the UK.
