Stefan Immerfall

Stefan Immerfall is a Professor of Sociology at the Pedagogical University Schwäbisch Gmünd. His work spans European sociology, political sociology, educational sociology, and international comparative political economy, focusing on social integration, migration, and educational equity.

• Current research emphasizes heterogeneity in primary schools, pandemic-era education, and community-based interventions.
• He has led numerous third-party funded projects on refugee integration, educational transitions, and EU policy.

Academic Achievements:

• Recognized with the German Studies Award (1996) and Ostbayerischen Kulturpreis (1991).
