Stefan Hjort is a Doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo, affiliated with its Department of Literature, Area Studies, and European Languages. His research focuses on the Romantic philosophy of nature in Henrik Wergeland's early poetry, contextualized within German Romanticism through works by Novalis, Henrik Steffens, and Friedrich Hölderlin. His academic interests span Romanticism, literature-science intersections, environmental humanities, and psychoanalysis.
