Stefan Henning is a Lecturer in the Program in East Asian Studies at Johns Hopkins University, affiliated with the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences. He holds a PhD in anthropology and history from the University of Michigan (2005). His research focuses on Chinese history, Muslim societies in China, and religious activism.
