Stefan Ellmer

Stefan Ellmer is Assistant Professor in Graphic Design and Illustration at Oslo National Academy of the Arts' Department of Design. His artistic research explores experimental approaches to typography, asemic writing, and design methodologies.

Recent projects include 'Against Typography' - a series examining unconventional letterforms and typographic boundaries, and collaborative investigations of design craftsmanship. Ellmer participates in exhibitions and lectures exploring the intersections of writing, meaning-making, and visual communication.
