Stanislav Moroz

Stas Moroz is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Law at Tulane University's Women's Prison Project (WPP), where he supervises student attorneys representing criminalized survivors of intimate partner violence. His work spans trial court proceedings, post-conviction hearings, and parole/pardon advocacy, focusing on challenging wrongful convictions and systemic injustices in Louisiana.

• Prior Experience: Public defender at Orleans Public Defenders (trial and special litigation divisions)
• Education: JD from New York University Law

Research Interests: Criminal defense strategies, sentencing equity, and reform of habitual offender laws. Advocacy against unlawful post-release incarceration practices.

Additional Roles: Conducts CLE training on sentencing, mentors student attorneys in appellate litigation, and collaborates with legal teams to advance prisoners' rights.
