Stacy Pottinger is an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Director of the Dance Minor Program at Carthage College since 2009. She teaches Applied Dance Technique and choreography courses while advising student productions and organizations.

Her research focuses on repertory-based teaching methodologies and dance literacy through the Dancing Legacy Repertory Etudes Collection. She has directed over 16 years of annual dance productions and collaborated with artists like Bill Evans and David Parsons.
