Dr. Stacy Overstreet is a Professor at Tulane University's School of Science & Engineering. Her research examines childhood adjustment challenges arising from chronic stressors, using ecological-transactional models to investigate how community violence exposure and traumatic experiences affect psychosocial and academic functioning. She specializes in disaster mental health interventions and resilience factors in educational settings.
