Stacy Gnall

Stacy Gnall is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of English at the University of Detroit Mercy, affiliated with the College of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences. A poet and educator, she contributes to the academic community through her creative work and teaching expertise.

Gnall’s research and creative practice focuses on poetry, contemporary literature, and expressive arts. Her work has been published in notable journals such as Pleiades, Massachusetts Review, and New American Writing.

Among her accolades, she was awarded the Juniper Prize for Poetry (2022) and was a finalist for the Georgia Poetry Prize. Her debut collection, Heart First into the Forest, was published by Alice James Books in 2011.
