Stacy Boyd, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the School of Humanities at the University of West Georgia. She earned her PhD in American/African American Studies from Emory University, an MA in English from the University of West Georgia, an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies from Emory, and a BA in English from Randolph Macon College.
Her research explores African American literature, multicultural narratives, and pedagogical approaches in English studies. She teaches courses including English Composition, African-American Literature, Introduction to Africana Studies, and Professional & Technical Writing.
