Stacy A. Lyons

Stacy A. Lyons is a Professor of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry (NECO), serving as Chair of the Specialty Care and Vision Sciences Department. She also practices as an Attending Optometrist at Charles River Community Health. Her expertise spans Pediatrics, Public Health, Vision Screening, and Vision and Learning. She holds an OD from NECO and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Her research focuses on pediatric optometry, public health initiatives related to vision care, and the impact of vision on learning. She has been recognized with the Dupuis-Pellerin Award for Faculty Excellence and the Women In Optometry's Theia Awards for Excellence in Education.

Dr. Lyons actively contributes to professional organizations, including leadership roles as Chair of the National Advisory Committee to the National Center for Children’s Vision and Eye Health, Past-Chair of the Vision Care Section of the American Public Health Association, and membership on the Women in Optometry Advisory Board.
