Stacey J. Lee is a Vilas Research Professor and Frederick Erickson WARF Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Education, affiliated with the Department of Educational Policy Studies and Asian American Studies. Her work focuses on education’s role in immigrant incorporation and challenges stereotypes like the 'model minority.' She holds a PhD in Anthropology of Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and master’s and bachelor’s degrees in Political Science from NYU and Vassar College.
