Stéphan PLASSART

Stéphan PLASSART is an Associate Professor in Computer Science at Savoie Mont Blanc University, affiliated with the LISTIC laboratory. His research focuses on energy optimization in real-time systems, network calculus for Time-Sensitive Networks (TSN), and Markov Decision Processes. He holds a PhD from Université Grenoble Alpes (2019), where his thesis on online energy optimization for real-time systems was conducted under Professors Bruno Gaujal and Alain Girault. Previously, he completed a postdoc at EPFL under Prof. Jean-Yves Le Boudec. He currently co-supervises a PhD student exploring energy-aware distributed machine learning platforms.

Key contributions include algorithmic advancements for energy-efficient scheduling, tool development (e.g., Saihu for TSN analysis), and theoretical work on flow analysis. He actively participates in academic organizations, serving as Web Chair for the 2022 Workshop on Network Calculus (WoNeCa-6).
