Srivari CHANDRASEKHAR is a Research Professor and J C Bose National Fellow affiliated with the CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology in Hyderabad. He previously served as Secretary at the Department of Science & Technology (DST) and Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB). He is honored with Fellowships from multiple national academies (FNASc, FASc, FNA) and recently received the Doctor Honoris Causa from the University of Rennes.
His research focuses on sustainable synthesis methodologies, organic chemistry interfaces, and antimicrobial peptide development targeting multiresistant bacteria. He is associated with the Organic Chemistry and Interfaces team at the University of Rennes, where he delivered a lecture on transitioning synthesis approaches toward net-zero goals.
