Srihari Narayanan

Srihari Narayanan, OD, PhD, FAAO, is a Professor and Director of the Dry Eye & Cornea Service at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry (UIWRSO). He serves as Chief of the Adult Care Clinic and contributes to didactic teaching in Clinical Optometry, Anterior Segment Disease, and problem-based learning courses, while also acting as a clinical preceptor.

• Education: MS, OD, PhD from the University of Houston College of Optometry

Dr. Narayanan's research focuses on tear film dynamics, dry eye disease, and anterior uveitis. His work has been presented at national and international meetings, and he actively participates in leadership roles on college- and national-level committees.

With prior clinical experience in India and Bahrain, he now provides COPE-approved continuing education lectures for U.S. optometrists and mentors optometric educators globally. His career spans clinical practice, teaching, and research in optometry.
