Sridevan Parameswaran

Professor Sridevan Parameswaran is Head of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Sydney. He holds affiliations with the University of Sydney Nano Institute and previously served at UNSW and University of Queensland. His research focuses on hardware design for genomic analysis and computing systems.

Research interests include computer engineering solutions for DNA sequencing, FPGA-based security systems, and resource-efficient deep learning accelerators. Recent publications demonstrate innovations in genomic data visualization and hardware optimization techniques.

Current projects include ARC-funded research on custom computing for DNA analysis and developing efficient DNN accelerators.
