About
Sreya Ghosh is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Immunology at Harvard Medical School and Boston Children's Hospital. Her work focuses on the role of Type III Interferons in infectious diseases, inflammation, and cancer, particularly in respiratory infections, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and colon cancer. She has trained under Dr. Katherine Fitzgerald and currently works in Dr. Ivan Zanoni's lab, investigating immune responses across clinical and research domains.
- B.Sc. & M.Sc. in Biochemistry, University of Calcutta, India
- Ph.D. in Immunology & Microbiology, University of Massachusetts Medical School, USA
Ghosh's research spans immunology, gene regulation, and pathogen interactions. She explores Type III Interferons' mechanisms in
- Infection
- Inflammation
- Tumorigenesis
- Tissue repair
- Epithelial barrier function
- Inflammasome activation
Her publications highlight key contributions to immunology and virology, focusing on interferon responses, immune signaling, and disease pathogenesis. Ghosh actively participates in postdoctoral leadership as Co-President of the Boston Children's Postdoc Association (2020–present).
