Sravan Patel

Sravan Patel is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy, affiliated with the Rohan Research Group. His primary research focuses on developing affordable pharmaceutical products for women's health, including prevention of unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) such as HIV and herpes. He also investigates diagnostic and treatment strategies for endometriosis. Patel employs advanced manufacturing techniques like hot-melt extrusion and 3D printing to create scalable drug delivery systems.
