Sourav Banerjee

Dr. Sourav Banerjee is a Senior Lecturer in Cancer Research at the University of Dundee's School of Medicine, Department of Cancer Research. He holds a Master's degree from the University of Glasgow and a PhD from the MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit at the University of Dundee. His research focuses on understanding the role of extracellular post-translational modifications, particularly phosphorylation, in glioblastoma progression and identifying novel biomarkers for diagnosis and treatment. Banerjee's work integrates molecular biology, drug discovery, and translational medicine to develop therapies targeting aggressive cancers like glioblastoma and triple-negative breast cancer.
