Sora Lee

Sora Lee is a Part-Time Instructor in the Music Department at Waynesburg University. She specializes in collaborative piano performance, working with vocalists and instrumentalists. Her professional activities include performances at international venues such as the Rubinsteinsaal in Munich and contributions to cultural projects funded by state and federal arts grants.

Education: B.A. from University of California, Irvine; M.M. and Doctor of Music (D.M.) from West Virginia University. Her doctoral work produced the award-winning dissertation The Life and Legacy of Mieczuslaw Munz, which formed the basis of the documentary Munz: A Pianist’s Story (2021).

Awards include prestigious scholarships and the WVU Foundation Distinguished Doctoral Award (2016). Her work bridges performance, historical research, and documentary production, reflecting her commitment to preserving musical heritage and advancing artistic expression.
