Sophie Pike

Dr Sophie Pike is a Senior Lecturer in Criminology at Bath Spa University, affiliated with the School of Sciences. Her research focuses on homicide investigation, policing, and qualitative research methodologies.

Her publications span books and chapters on topics like homicide survivor experiences, miscarriages of justice, and detective training. She co-edited the 2023 Routledge handbook on homicide investigation and authored the 2022 Routledge monograph A Recent History of Homicide Investigation.
