Affiliated Lecturer in Old Testament Studies at the Faculty of Divinity. Research focuses on postcolonial readings of the Book of Joshua and pan-Israelite identity formation. Current DFG-funded project examines strategic essentialism in biblical texts.
Research methodologies combine literary analysis with historical-critical approaches to examine power dynamics in biblical narratives. Teaches Hebrew language and Old Testament interpretation. Collaborates with German universities through DAAD-funded research exchanges.
