Soodeh Atefi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Louisville. Prior to her current role, she served as a Postdoctoral Fellow in the same department starting in March 2024.
Education:
- Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Houston, defended in summer 2023.
- M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Houston.
Dr. Atefi's research focuses on applied artificial intelligence for optimization and decision-making under uncertainty, particularly in cybersecurity. Her work has been published in top-tier conferences such as AAAI and WWW.
