Sonja Fransen

Dr. Sonja Fransen is an Assistant Professor at the International Institute of Social Studies of Erasmus University Rotterdam and a Senior Researcher at the Humanitarian Studies Centre. Her work focuses on displacement dynamics, climate change impacts on displaced populations, and the intersection of migration with sustainable development and post-conflict recovery. She has extensive field experience in African countries, specializing in both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
